I think this is going to be one of my new favorite toys. I'm gathering what need from work to assemble a reloader and I have a few other wild ideas. I am gearing up for cooler weather here in southern Alabama. Being a Lake Erie boy, the heat kicks my butt. Betty Lou and I have such a sweet shooting setup here that it almost makes me jealous of me. Posts of joy to follow...
Bill, I've only had my 1100 back from repair for a short time, but it is lot's of fun. I contacted Mr. Robinson earlier in the year when I got the 1100. He is great to talk to and easy to deal with.I got 200 rounds and 200 of his reloading wads. I was experimenting just last night on reloading methods. I found a pretty neat method. I take a piece of wax paper, pushing it into the shot cup from the bottom while the top is flat on the table. I fill in shot and then put one of Mr. Robinson's wads on the bottom. The wax paper in strong enough to hold back the shot effectively and you only use one wad instead of two ( economy alert ). Keep us posted.
Gonna need to pace myself with this one. I've been known to throw 500 rounds downrange in one session with other guns.
