Then, of course there is my .250 cal Bob's Boattail 52 gr. available from Veral at LBT under mold # 25-52-BST.... Bob
Just a bit too long for the magazine, unfortunately.... However, you could have Veral shorten the boattail slightly to make it short enough to fit.... It was designed for a 14" twist, and will work up to 16" at the original length.... I don't know what twist the Hatsan barrel is.... If it is slower than 16", shortening the bullet will help it to work.... and shortening the boattail in particular as that has a twofold effect on stability.... There is one of the members here who purchased a shortened BBT mold for his Hatsan but I never heard how it worked out.... Perhaps he will chime in.... You can't order LBT molds online, but you can print off an order form.... http://www.lbtmolds.com/ .... My boattails are not, as yet, in his catalogue, but I gave you the order number above.... You would need to specify the LOA you want, and give Veral instruction to shorten the bullet at the back.... You can also specify the diameter you want, and the alloy you will be using.... I would suggest pure lead with not more than 2.5% tin.... I use 1% and the bullets cast at just under 51 gr at full length (0.455").... Bob
