Hey guys was wanting to upgrade my 2x7x32 scope to maybe this scope,to put on my .177 marauder.http://www.airgunwarehouseinc.com/py-a-4798.htmlI was thinking a fixed scope like this might make more accurate shooting for the different distances I typically shoot at...anywhere from 15 yards to 70 yards.Interested in opinions and if you feel this would be a wise choice...I do alot of shooting near dusk,im thinking this will aloow a lot more light to see more clear? Thanks,Mike.
Justa question: Why put a heavy Hawke or Leapers scope on a docile shooter like Mrods?Do they really shoot accurately at those distances? I truly don't know, so I ask....I use a very simple 3-9x42mm shorty Hammers scope that is 1/2 the weight of these scopes. If weight is no concern, and you are good at 70yd shooting with your current scope....then excuse my questions and this link to a 3-9x42mm compact:http://hammersbinoculars.stores.yahoo.net/cori3wiilmir.htmlYES..YES..YES... You will see big "light gathering" differences in the 42mm vs 32mm Lens...No Matter Brand.
You can get more scope than that for the price they are asking. Here's what my .22 Mrod is wearing...http://www.ebay.com/itm/Extreme-Tactical-Rifle-Scope-ZOS-6-24x50-SFE-IR-SWAT-6x-24x-MAGNIFICATION-/291349740507?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item43d5cc3bdb
