Tonight I pulled the gun out of the stock. I wanted to look at and adjust trigger, install sling studs, check spring preload setting and lastly check my bedding conditions.I found some good things and odd settings... First first, the sling studs. I have dune this allot, measure position, mark position and drill. Last carefully install studs watch out for blow outs. EASY. CW
Brian those $3.50 Harbor Freight Led work lights mounted over the diffuses work great I just have to remember to turn off the overhead florescent light and I get accurate consistent results as long as I set up the alignment correctly
Hey Brian, I sure don't claim to be any kind of guru, but what worked for me was turning the power adjuster screw in (CW) until the bolt would not catch and the gun would not cock. I then backed it out (CCW) just far enought to allow the bolt to grab and the gun to cock and I am happy with my results. High power, medium shot count. This will probably not work if you want a minimum of 20 good shots, but if 10 or 12 high power shots for hunting are your cup of tea, this worked for me.
OUCH ! ! ! Hope you didn't kill it
@cwlongshot - that's what shrink tubing is for! I have a roll here of 2" stuff that shrinks down to 1/2 inch. Works real well on mine and looks clean. I have it wrapped almost all the way down to exit hole. PM me and I'll send you a section.
