I just bought a new sumatra from pyramid air and it wil be here tomarrow ...i cant wait to get her in my hands lol can anyone give me any advice on this rifle as far as maitinance goes and can i mount a bi pod on the sumatra? Thank you in advance

As with any gun you get the first thing you should do is read the owners manual, then clean the barrel with goo-gone until the patches are clean coming out. You will want to be careful with your fill adapter as it can be easily broken(snapped in half) if not careful. Be sure not to overfill the rifle. I believe it should be filled to approximately 210 bar-ish. Now you are ready to shoot.
A word of advise, these rifles are loud! You may want to wear ear protection until you are comfortable with the report.
As for a bi-pod, I would shy away from mounting one to it as it will take away from the natural beauty of the gun. However, Mounting one would not be difficult if you wanted to attach a sling stud to the forearm with extreme care.

You might want to avoid using a cleaning rod. A pull through like the "bore wire" will be much easier on the crown and rifling.

Get a crown saver kit from Mac1. Best bore cleaner kit around.
