The clip on the RS2 is self indexing, meaning it is independent of the the bolt. If you can't retract the lever, it's possible the bolt probe has become bent. Did you accidentally seat more than one pellet? Does the lever have any motion at all?Tom
Thanks again... I am at work but I will try tapping on the mag tonight. Actually miss placed my spare mag too which until found hinders my visualization of what could be going on. I will post what I find out tonight.
Thanks.. this is a .357 and my little finger seemed small enough seat the Exact Diablo 81 gr's but I hit some dry holes in the mag so I took it out and spun the mag and filled the empty holes then this happened. My original thought was that it was self indexing but it is not like the owners manual is in-depth about anything. I came under the impression while shooting that I was wrong about self indexing because the mag quit rotating for me while loading. Then like an idiot I put the thing back in the gun and then this happened. So do you think the mag is somehow jammed and cannot rotate?
You should try using a pen tip to first unwind the magazine pretension to its default. There is a small tab that is located at the entrance of the center bottom chamber hole. Lightly trigger it with a pen tip to index the magazine until the tab is no longer there. Then start loading a pellet at a time until the mag is full. In essence, If you have an empty mag and see that tab exposed, it indicates the magazine is not fully unwound. The other suggestion is to try a different mag.Hope that helps.
