you can lower peak power a bit by backing off the hammer spring, it might flatten your string a bit, but I like those 4 first shots
She will get better too as you put more rounds throught the barrel and you learn how to shoot her, but you are doing really good already on day one
So far I have found very few issues with the rifle. Here is the big one that I found today. Should I make a stink about it?

The casting defect seems to be right at the point where the linkage attaches so I'd get it replaced.As you have that new model lever, could you measure the distance in between those two holes in the lever? I'm wondering if that lever is beefier and could be used on older models guns having problems with bent levers.
