I know this has been discussed before but I just wanted to add my observation. I recently ordered a factory closeout Dominator 200s from AirgunProshop.com. Those guys are great. I have a 95 vortek refurb from them that performs flawlessly. Not so with the brand new Dominator. This rifle in .22 is purported to get 800fps with lead pellets. When I first got the gun I just started shooting it to get used to it. It seemed like it had alot of punch at my end but not at the target. I got out the chrony and it was shooting CPUMs in the low 500's. I've read that Crosman pellets don't perform well out of Hatsans so I tried some JSBs and H&N with the same results. So I'm suspecting a torn or damaged piston seal. I get in touch with Airgunproshop and they refer me to Hatsan USA service. I Was ready to tear into the gun and replace the seal (fortunately I ordered one when I ordered the gun) but they emailed me a shipping label and requested I send the gun in for a warranty repair. I shipped the gun out the next day and about three weeks later received the repaired gun. Before it arrived I received an email detailing what the tech found and fixed (it was the seal) along with new chrony #s in the mid 700s and that it was on its way back to me. I have not had the chance to shoot the gun yet to confirm the numbers but I was impressed with Hatsan's service. I've never had to send a gun back before but this experience impressed me.

Hatsan is good with their service. Torn/damaged seals from the factory are very common. My brother and I each bought 125TH guns in .25 caliber, and both had damaged seals from the factory. We bought new seals from PA and I replaced them, along with a debur, clean and lube. My brother's gun is now at factory spec, and mine exceeds factory specs.
Before tune with JSB King 25.4.... 685 FPS
After tune.................................. 781 FPS
Befor tune with FTT 19.91............ 795 FPS
After tune ................................. 863 FPS
The aftermarket seals are far superior to the factory seal, and are slightly larger. It's been noted here many times that the Hatsan seals are undersized.
Your gun would probably get better performance with the aftermarket seal and a good debur and lube.

I had a great experience w/them too and my 95 also had a defective seal. Just curious, did you pay for the Hatsan Factory Bulletproof at airgun proshop for your Dominator? Was your issue with it inside 30 days of purchase or beyond that?

I didn't spring for the service. As a new gun I figured if anything was wrong the warranty would cover it. It's just frustrating when you buy a new gun and then have to send it back within the first week.

The compression tube on Hatsan 200's is two piece. They are assembled without an O ring although there a place for one.My 200 leaked at the front and of course had low power. There will be signs of leakage after firing a number of pellets at the front of the compression tube. The front has wrench flats on it for installation and removal.I have yet to repair mine but I need to do that soon.
