I have been thinking about turning my AF Condor into a .257 or maybe a .308. The AF platform is very adjustable, easy to tune and the conversion has been done before with very good success. That being said, I have been thinking about if there are other rifles that will work well as a platform to built a small caliber/high velocity(for an airgun) air gun. My end goal is to come up with a rifle that shoots bullets accurately at >100 yards with a reasonable flat trajectory. My idea is for a bullet only air gun, no pellets. With the 909 easily spitting RB at 800 fts, firing a 80g spritzer at 900-950 fts should not be that hard with the right barrel. Anyways, that's my idea. If anyone has tried this before, I would really appreciate any advice/side notes or any suggestions from anyone.
Thanks
