Good idea. I know I have been through so many brands and types of pellets to find what works best in my Trail NP .22. The H&N FTT 5.53's were by far the most consistent and accurate of any of them. The Crosman Premier Hollow Points would be almost as good, but they are not consistent in size.
Does this help? I just did some pellet testing on my Trail NP All Weather. These are all 5 shot groups - it's clear what the guns preferences are. If you need help with my abbreviations, let me know
I voted for and use the H&N FTT's but,Beeman FTS's give the tightest groups in my gun. They are supposed to be the same pellet with the FTS's being copper coated. I thought that this would make them tighter in the bore though they actually seem looser than the FTT's. But I stack them at 15yards.I don't use them though because the FTT's and PolyMags group the same in my gun and sight the same in my scope. I practice with the FTT's and shoot pest's with the PolyMags. The FTS's give a very slightly better group, but for some reason the group is low left of my crosshairs.
I wonder if its from lack of comparison against other pellets because the premiers are cheap and most available
