I swear by redfires...they are devastating to squirrels.
Just got home from a trip to wally world and the finally restocked the airgun ammo section. So I noticed they now carry Gamo redfire pellets. I have read nothing but bad reviews about them, but my first impressions are very promising. Accuracy is on par with cphp but expansion testing in clay and the violent reaction on impact with paintballs shows way more expansion similar to what I've read about polymags. At $1.77 per tin of 150 thats about $6 per 500.....just seems too cheap to be good quality ammo. They fit nice and tight in the breech and I wonder if the extra length makes it more stable. Anyone else seen good results with this ammo? I fully expected to shoot about three shots all over the place and either give them away or shelf them.
