if I'm out in the field and my gun has a safety. There's no reason for me to not have it cocked unless I've just fired. A spring isn't going to suffer too much from being cocked for an hour or so. I loved my pump innova and I would like a nitro but lots of people love springers. Compare to motorbikes. Harley-Davidson are so slow clumsy thirsty and old fashioned compared to jap and Euro bikes but people love their tough ever fixable simplicity and will always love them. Same goes for springers.
