Congrats,, last night I ordered the same pistol except I went with the 18" .177 barrel and the camo shoulder stock. I hope they complete mine and ship it as quickly as they did yours. I'll be looking forward to your review when you get your shooter.

Nice! Sooner or later I'll be ordering the same thing. I have a Leapers 3-9x32 to put on it, will be doing the mods Bill mentioned and that will probably complete my airgun collection. I'll likely get a second stock and shorten it up for my son to use.

Yes, you can request the short steel breech but it cost
extra, otherwise you get the long version.
(the only reason to get the short one is with iron sights
only and some weight reduction. in my opinion)

Well I got it yesterday!! I have ran 3 carts through it, so about 100 pellets or so. It is a fun little gun. It was only about 65 while I was shooting so I have hopes that it will be shooting a bit harder as it warms up around here. Things I noticed.... The gun is heavier than I expected. It is not heavy, it just has more heft than I thought it would. The length of pull is looong.. I can shoot it fine but it feels a bit akward. I think the length of pull is longer than any of my other airguns. I will probably shorten that a bit. The trigger is okay. It was a little heavy until I took the stock off and adjusted it down all the way. I think once it wears in it will be much better. It is also a bit loud. That I expected. I may need to get me a TKO. Overall I really like the gun. I think it will be lots of fun. I will post pics later, I don't have access to my camera right now. Thanks for all the advice guys!!

Brushy Bill is correct the breech is the long steel breech. Here is a pic of my new 2400KT.
Top is the 2400KT
Second is the xs-b16 that Mike Melick gave my family
Third is my Daisy 880
Bottom is my Crosman Titan
Here is the 2400KT next to my sons Daisy Buck, I need to trim the stock a bit so the 2400KT will fit him.

Sure hope you like it, my AS2250XT shoots incredibly
well. I have put about 4500 rounds through it since
mid december. It just seems to get better.
Here is a photo from a guy on another site who
shortened a stock for his kids. He cut right at the
butt of the stock and shortened the upper and
lower sections. He pre drilled and countersunk
deck screws and epoxied it back together.

Thanks guys. I like it so far. I wish it would get a bit warmer around here so I can see what she can do in warmer temps. Most of the shooting I have done with it has been in temps around 70 degrees. I am having a difficult time getting past cutting a brand new stock, but I expect that I will cut it before too long. I need to shorten the pull for me a bit. Stock it is 16". I want to take a couple inches out of it. I don't know that I will shorten it enough for my son but it is probably going to get chopped a couple inches eventually.

I did a little shooting with this yesterday with my 6 year old (he will be 7 at the end of the month). I have a target that is about 5"x5" square hanging out about 45-50 yards. My boy was hitting it almost everytime. He was setting in a lawn chair resting on the patio table. If I ever get around to shortening that stock he could really put some groups together with it!
