What are your thoughts on this gun? Pros, Cons? My friend might go buy this AG tomorrow and was wanting to know if it was good or not.

There will be alot of people that will tell you to stay away from Gamo and for alot of there high priced guns I would tend to agree. But when it comes to some of Gamos budget rifles ($100-$150) I have to say there some of the best. For the money, the Hornet is a great air rifle along with the Gamo Big Cat. If your able to replace the trigger it can be turned into an even better shooter. Accuracy is one of my favorite things about this gun. Even with the "terrible" plastic trigger the gun itself is still capable of shooting 1 inch groups at 35 yards. Granted, the accuracy can be greatly increased by replacing that trigger but out-of-the-box accuracy isnt bad at all.
The longevity of the gun is about normal for any springer lasting anywhere from 2500-5000 rounds. However you can greatly increase your chances of making the gun last longer by performing necessary maintenance.
Ive owned both the Hornet and Big Cat and would highly recommend the Hornet to someone looking for a quality budget springer right around $130. Sometimes you can even find them on sale for $100.

yea, in my opinion thats a great price. And if you ever wanted to upgrade the rifle there are various things you could do to make it even better. But thats up too you.
