Big brown truck pulls up and I know what it's carrying. I ordered a XS12 w/basic tune from MM last Monday. Gotta love fast delivery. Took it out of the box, impressed with packing, impressed with the quality of this little rifle and super impressed with its shooting out of the box. I don't shoot iron sights. I said I don't shoot iron sights. I can't see them with these 67 year old eyes. ALL my rifles wear a scope and even my Daisy 1200 pistol does. However, since I want to shoot a few pellets thru her before mounting her scope, I picked up 12 CPHP pellets and put my spoons target at 10 yds. With open sights I only missed one shot. To me that is a giant wwwwwwooooooowwwwweeeeeee!
This rifle is so smooth and quiet that I thought I must not have my hearing aids in.(Yes, I wear them) I can cock it with one finger and there's no grit, just smooth. The firing cycle is soooo quiet. Did I mention that I'm impressed?
Thanks, Mike, for such a gem at the price you are selling them. I've owned two spring guns in the past and swore I'd never have another. After reading many positive reviews on this rifle I bit the bullet, saying I will try one more time. Oh, yes, I'm glad I did.

So glad you like your new toy. I am just as happy with Flying Dragon as you are. Everyone i talked to and I have read lots of forums posts telling people to "run away" from Chinese stuff due to lack of quality controls.
But very impressed about Xisico stuff.
Hope you have years of fun with your new toy. I know i will with mine.

Congrats Floyd. Betty Lou and I have 2 of them in .177. So fun. Try some Daisy Wadcutters in it. I'm assuming you got the .177. I think the .22 would be a bit underpowered. I've even considered putting a little heavier spring in mine. Maybe I'll tinker with it one day. I grabbed a handful of the XS-60c front muzzle breaks from Mike a while back and put one on my XS-12. I like it alot better. My eyes aren't what they used to be but, I can see this front sight relatively well.

My, those XS12's are nice! I purchased one from Mike a couple of months ago with a full tune and a 4X Rex. I went with a .22 for the fun of it. Yep, when the light is right I can see the pellet in the air, not much speed. For my application, it just right. I have shot my enough that stocks wrist is getting that hand rubbed look and the trigger just gets smoother.
My wife Lilly and I shoot timed beverage can matches. Lilly uses her 853. Whom ever has moved the can the farthest when the buzzer sounds is the winner. This makes for a match that requires skill, you have to hit the can in the right spot to make it jump. In some of the cans presentations that spot is indeed very small.
I need to take the time to map out the trajectory, just for my own satisfaction.

Bill: dont under estimate the power of the .22. it does in fact make a bit more power than the .177. I had one that shot crosman prems 14.3 at 511 fps. with a little scope on it it was a perfect back yard pester and very accurate to boot. Yes, it is not a long distance shooter but if you keep it inside 1322 ranges it is a lot more practical, quiet and accurate. Mine went to a friend who is an avid bird watcher to keep squirrels and chipmunks off his yard. His feeders are about 50 feet from the deck and so far he has dropped 3 squirrels in the past year... now that you remind me i should re order another one...
