Go a couple posts up and get Ken's trigger mod file. I can tell you from experience it works great. The biggest trick is finding a spring you like to replace the original. I think I ended up with a Prime Line SP 9700 from Home Depot. You need a spring 1/4" or slightly less in diameter about 1/2" long. Caution, if you go too light on the spring the sear may not latch when trying to cock the gun. For the nylon washers Ken suggests, I found American screw size number eight washers available at Lowes or Ace Hardware work well.As far as the washer mod I've attached instructions. If you have no barrel wobble don't even bother. The idea is to eliminate side to side play which causes inaccuracy.
Do yourself a favor and get the cbr tuna trigger skip the bearing mod you're used to better triggers than the mod will supply. My NP2 loves jsb 18.1's, I've added that tuna cbr, and its throwing 21fpe, I can't shoot it enough deadly accurate well past 35yrds.
The new Crosman trigger in the NP2's is good to start with. It is metal as opposed to the earlier plastic triggers, and adding the SLT kit will make it as good as the CBR. I modified my stock trigger by drilling and adding a 6/32 allen screw for the 1st stage, and nylon washers from Lowes. The CBR is plastic with a metal pin at the sear contact, which the stock one does not need since it is metal.
The stock plastic pivot washers allow a little play, which the addition of the copper or brass washers will tighten up and improve accuracy. The pivot bolt on the NP2 also has an allen set screw to prevent it from loosening up, which was a problem on earlier guns. If you decide to replace the washers, remember to loosen it before trying to remove the pivot bolt.

The CBR Trigger blade is a space age Polymer composite trigger with a hardened steel reinforced pivot point to eliminate any concerns regarding wear. (The trigger is not plastic).
Jeff, Sorry if you took my plastic comment to mean inferior.

We'll see how the SLT trigger mod from ebay works. It looks simple enough.
