HI guys:
quick question about my titan gp. seems like the first shot of the day for the last 5 or 6 times i am getting a very loud POP and a trace of smoke from the barrell. is anybody else having this happen? comments? advise? share what ya got. pellet type is crosman hp. thanks Bob

Are you storeing it muzzel down? , that could cause that from lubricate draining into the chamber.Thanks David

that is just lube, now... if its every day, its probably having something to do with the way your storing your barel. i store all my rifles horizontal, but it seems as if MOST people store there rifles, barrel pointing up. either that or you have a bad seal...

No thats not the answer what I meant is I have seen guys put there ags in a sheath and stand them up with the barrel down. As far as storeing it with muzzel up should be fine. These ags come new with what we call ditch oil and way to much of it over a peroid of time you will eventurally get it shot out, I usually take any new ag and tear them down and clean it out. Most crossmans seals are bad usually damaged in assembly not all but I think I could safely say 75 percent of them are, they have nicks and ragged edges in them causing lubricate to get in the front side of the seal thus causing your pop and smoke on your first shot after storeing.
