Got all the machining done, now just need to reassemble. Hopefully, we'll be shooting today. Bye the way, used the Hillman #83 in the valve of last weeks BAM B50 tune - like the #86 much better (a weaker spring). In working on Hatsan PCP's, the valve spring is ever so slight.......... only a little beefier than a pen My only question on the tune will be "Will I have enough hammer w/o the OEM or MC spring? The MC's are in the mail, but will experiment with a clipped OEM and Hillman #152. If not, when making future (LW) hammers, I may make them heavier Kirk
spiral groove... how come installing the safety dropped my velocity about 40 fps on the .177 b50 i have? there should not be any air escaping from behind the valve, correct? why does that happen.?
or i can just run it with only the safety between my ears... as the target rifle it has become. Mine is a .177 shooting 10.5 at 744 fps. 52 useable shots +-20 fps. (with the safety it dropped to 690s..)
