How was it shooting at 780fps? Mine with the spring all the way back is at 940fps
The At44 once your learn it, it will do what ever you want it to do. I am still in Awe over it as well as the BT65, I was shooting a DURASEAL SPINNER TARGET - SINGLE 5.5 @ 120yards empty a full clip on it with the BT65 no misses at all. No matter what some may say about Hatsan......I have never had not one moment of disappointment.

I can see the hatsan doing much better than stock, but not as good as a cricket as far as accuracy. I mean you shot one full clip and were able to notice a poi difference. I assume you have modded your gun. with the cricket I couldn't detect any poi shift until shot #84. and the velocity also kept me above 30 fpe until that point at which it dropped a bit and beghaved like a regular unregulated air rifle. the hatsan has lots of potential, but to say it is as good as is very missleading
My barrel crown looks like it was done with a big drill bit, not sure if guy I bought it from or factory is to blame. Had to take over 1/8 closer to 1/4 inch off end of barrel just to get rid of the crappy crown jobAs for the cricket I'm sure it's a great gun but I bought both my guns and omega tank for about the same price as the cricket and my bt65 groups well at 50 yards+. Now that I have a nice crown job on at44 I really hope it can group too.
I hope to hopefully get one myself.
