Nope, it's a flared end pin and some call it a blind rivet. You have to drill it out to at least thin the end some so a pin punch will collapse it as you try to drive it out. Kinda hard to explain but could show you. LOLYou need to order a replacement if you take it out. When I swapped barrels, I ordered ALL of the pieces parts to assemble an entire barrel group. Just a simple swap back and forth between calibers, in case I ever decided to swap back.SAFE & Happy Shooting!!!!Dave
