hatsan at44pa, not sure where spring goes

I just got into air rifles, started out with a spring gun, now purchased a used hatsan at44pa, the cylinder was low in pressure , but tried a pellet, fired, second shot, seemed like the pellet lodged between clip and barrel, so unable to remove clip, removed the side plate, attachs with 3 screws, removed the one spring, and after turning the gun had another spring fall out, it is about and inch long, 1/8 diameter, cannot figure out where it came from, any help would be appreciated, I also want to purchase a used scuba tank, for fill ups, but not sure what accessories I need to attach to the cylinder and gun

Besides removing the side plate, did you separate the breech from the lower part of the gun?
Because afaik there should only be one spring under that side plate pushing a pin that moves the mag cycling lever forward.
edit
I forgot, there should be 2 screws under there, one longer & thinner to move the lever & a shorter wider one that is to keep the guide under tension & in place. Have a look here, this schematic should help you see what goes where.

The only thing I removed was the three screws holding the left hand side plate, and you are right all I can see is the one spring on the diagram, not sure where it could have come from now, trying to figure that out now
afraid to get to deep into the rifle until I have a little more knowledge
Thanks

Both those springs are situated under that plate.
The short fat one goes around the little guide that lines up with the center of the plate.

I've forgotten about my cell-phone so many times....but a few pics when taking things apart really helps in getting them back together.

You are so right about taking pictures, and a picture is worth a million words, that's the spring I wasn't sure about, now its back together, thanks again

don't buy a scuba tank you won't get a lot of fills. Hatsans use a lot of air. You're better off spending a bit more and getting a CF tank. Look for SCBA tanks that have been hydro tested and have at least 5 years worth of use left on them. You can find them pretty easily.
