Scope mounts for a mod 95

The combo package for the 95 comes with scope mounts that don't align the scope directly over the bore of the rifle. What do you suggest for scope mounts that clamp into the grooves on the receiver that will put the scope directly over the bore?

Burris has some mounts that offer inserts that are offset to allow for this type of thing. The Signature series Pos-Align model. They are not too expensive...
However, I'd send the entire package back to the vendor you bought it from or at the very least reach out to HatsanUSA. A rifle with dovetails milled off-center will be difficult to work with. I believe even the Burris mounts only offer a tiny bit of adjustment. If your 95 is anything like my old B3 underlever, you'd have to get some custom mounts made, and cost-wise it is not worth it. I was stuck with iron-sights in that thing, but it was my 20-yard-and-under squirrel-killer (now it has a new home, and current owner has added a few more kills).
I guess what I'm saying is a rifle like that should have never left the factory. Contact HatsanUSA and see what options you have. They certainly took care of me when I had problems with my 95QE- my replacement is a very good shooter.

I don't think that the grooves were milled off center. It appears that the scope mount included was for maybe a 7/16" or 1/2" groove and the grooves on the gun were 3/8" grooves. I am not sure what was going on but it looked like the distance between the grooves and the center of the scope mounts just didn't work together.
This gun is being replaced so maybe the new gun will work with the scope mounts. I can mount the scope so that it will work with the gun by canting the gun when shooting. I just don't like canting the gun.

Ah, understood. Hatsan uses metric, which is 11mm, which is also 3/8"
Having said that- there's a ton of inexpensive 1-piece mounts available on Amazon. I have a UTG mount that works perfect and cost around $10. I never had any problems with scope creeping... but I also torque the bolts to 15 inch-pounds, just a hair over 2 foot-pounds. Snug plus a 1/6th to 1/4 turn also works.
Here's the Amazon link:

Here's a couple from Amazon that tend to be favorites of 95 owners at least from all the different threads I've read and most will say get a 1 piece mount for a magnum springer. The first is a standard 1 piece, 1" mount from Instapark, definitely solid with 5 allen head screws locking the base to your dovetails:
I'm kind of an oddball and like my scopes to sit back farther and as Hatsan is known for milling their dovetails a llittle farther forward than most, I at first went with a UTG offset mount so I could get the scope to sit farther back:
Nowadays, all my rifles but one (Crosman Optimus with the above UTG offset mount and a inexpensive Centerpoint scope)) have Hawke Reach Forward match mounts. They're a bit pricy at $27.99 a set but what I've found I prefer on my rifles.
Hope this helps a little, keep us posted on the rifle...I think you're going to like the QE version.

All three of my Hatsan 95V's have the Instapark base, and there his zero creep with those five screws tightened down. I see the price has gone up since I bought mine. Used to be $17.

that Instapark [above] looks pretty good.
i use a hawke 4 screw one piece mount all the way back on the grooves with no scope stop.
it hasn't moved a bit.

My experience has been that many (most?) Hatsans require an offset mount to get the scope far enough back to achieve proper eye relief. This one might work for you:
Or if you install a Weaver/Picatinny adaptor this one:
I believe the older M95's had a dual 11mm/Weaver rail, the newer ones only the 11mm.
