24.56mm front sight holder...tube 24.4mm.
Just had the PA 2 week slide... still a chance for Father's Day.
It looks like PA took delivery of Sumatra carbines over the holiday weekend and I might see a tracking number today!
Mine arrived Saturday and started to check it out on Sunday. Mine came with a foster fitting already installed. PA rep says there was too many issues with probe, so going with foster. They will actually refund the adapter I did buy. I shot one mag of JSB heavies 34g. My basement wood stove pellet trap made some racket! It wasn't quite filled to full, and the shots started at 930 and dropped to 845. Shot at power wheel setting from the factory, which was five clicks down from max. Gun weighed a pound more than the 6 listed on the PA website. It is nice and short, and I'm liking the lever action and style.
Could you have turned your Power Wheel to keep your speed up ? Do you think you can keep your velocity up to ~900 fps with Power Wheel turns for two full clips in 25 caliber ? It may take more than what I'm using, but you started using less than 3000 psi, how much less ? at 15 on the Career gauge I'm at 2175psi and I'm too low to keep my velocity up. I think a full tank would make a difference as the 380cc tank looses volume fast at the speed these guns shoot pellets.wll2506

So lots of experimenting to come. It was about 1/16-1/8" below the green/red line on the gauge. I haven't filled it yet with my guppy to even baseline the gauge. If the heavies prove accurate at 50yds, will strive for a 2 mag 55fpe power. Seems very doable at this point.
380 cc is the full length rifle

The tech person at Pyramyd confirmed the rifle was 500cc and the carbine was 290cc. I sure wish a rep from Sam Yang would confirm with the correct figures !wll2506
