what a beast
how many shots are you getting? with one full charge
Just out curiosity, why shoot so "hot" you loose about 100fps the first 10 feet...
what does your shot curve look like? what power settings are you running?except the eunjin the rest are too hot for best accuracy.
myself i would start with an oring behind the tophat, you can experiment with different thicknesses (i use an mrod breech oring)then turn the power wheel down as low as it will go,and then fill to about 2500-2600psiif your first shot is the fastest and your velocity drops with every shot then you need to back off on it.to get the best shot count with the most consistency/accuracy you need a slight rise and fall in the velocity curve.
Change the top hat gap to .080 or .075 or leave it and try different size o-rings. For light weight pellets you will need to use low fill pressure like starlingassassin posted. If cphp shoot better starting at 2400 psi then dont fill it past that when you shoot them. Its all about getting the right top hat gap and fill pressure for the best speed the pellet will shoot at. Running a gap thats almost .090 without an o-ring is way to much for lighter weight pellets.
In my opinion your last shot of 1018 is still way to fast for best accuracy. I would want to be 950 or less for my peak. You really need to add an o-ring behind that top hat and see what you get for velocity and go from there. This is one reason why people will opt for the condor ss in .22. It is quiet and it is not over power for the .22. But you can get this beast to drop down where you need it and that will give you a decent shot count.
On a bone stock gun mine shot the 25.4 jsb with a pw setting of 4/4 and 2650 fill. The sweet spot was right at 2400 psi. You can try the washer or oring behind the top hat. I use nylon washers from a steel shed i put together and sand them to the thickness i need. I have from .050 down to .020 in .010 increments. My tt quick change top hat has a start gap of .090 travel. The fatter thebwasher the less the velocity. Mine also shoots heavier pellets more consistant. The condor is a ton of fun and can be rigged to shoot how ever you want it too but the accuracy will always be impressive no matter how its set up.
Yeah ive got mne running pretty hot right now just for poo and giggles. Getting 1066 with the 32.4 gr ej. I usually try to keep my guns shooting around 950. I got some 45 gr short boat tails coming in next week. Should be cool. Best part is i throw ina restrictor and cut down velocity in a few seconds and also save air. With the reg set up i was getting 42 fpe and 40 shots in an 11 fps velicoity window. These guns can be set very nice. Agree 100% though pellets going super sonic equal bad accuracy.
supe4 strong these condors are. will buy talon in 22. if you know whats difference except power?
