Hey mcoulter,That's why you gotta love tinkering on these airguns; many (improvement) mods often make you take a step backwards, before finally getting the results you were looking for in the first place. When you decide to make a number of changes at the same time, you loose sight of the cause & effect!Yet when the frustration ends, you've learned a lot and can help other airgun newbies on the GTA. I'm living proof of one that has made so many little mistakes, I've been forced to learn something. What a great process !!!
Hi Everyone,I am new to the forum but have read some really helpful threads here. I currently own a Hatsan 95 0.177 and Hatsan 135 .22. The Hatsan 95 has a UTG 4-16x50 scope and the Hatsan 135 has a Centerpoint 4-16x40 Adventure Class scope. The 95 is pretty accurate at 25 yards and 50 yards but I am having a very hard time getting any accuracy from my Hatsan 135. I have tried light to heavy pellets at at 15 yeards using an Artillery hold and my groupings are all over the place and also inconsistent.Any help on the Hatsan 135 is appreciated.Pellets used:1. H&N Field Trophy Green 9.56gr2. Air Arms Falcon 13.43gr3. Crossman Premier HP 14.3gr4. JSB Diablo Jumbo 15.89gr5. Air Arms Diablo Field 16gr6. JSB Match Diablo Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13gr7. Then my tech brain took over...... ah ah I new it had to be the rings if scope is in perfect condition. So I talked to the tech support and asked if they used the rings from scope returned to to the test or if they had a heavy dutie mounting fixture. the answer was heavy duty mounting fixture used to test all the scopes. So I asked for theThat was the pure cure .......... it drive tacks at 50ft now ! and tight as groups at 72 yards.
