Titan breach issue

Hey Guys,
I've developed an issue with my Titan. For some reason the breach will only open half way preventing you from loading a pellet. The first time it happened i thought I had cocked the gun and forgot to load a pellet into the chamber so I loaded a pellet and fired it into my trap. It fired just fine.
So , went to break it open to load another pellet and I get the same thing. The breach only opens half way. I took it apart and noticed that the two front stock screws were loose . So I cleaned everything real good applied fresh thread lock and re-assembled. I get the same exact thing.
What I have noticed is that the gun is starting to cock at an earlier point... or so it seems to be. and why the breach is only opening half way. There is no real hard stop, just what feels like spring tension.
Is there something specific I should be looking at to try and solve this? Or is this gonna be a trip to crossman for repairs?
Is there any way for the piston assembly to slide forward?
Currently it's out of the stock but still together. So if someone has any ideas I can readily take a look.
As always Thanks!

What can I do to help, fellow Titan owner and near neighbor ( 'bout and hour and 10 south of you)? I might be able to take some photos of mine or talk you through your problem. First thought was the one of the two front stock screws fouling but that's not it. Heck, come down this weekend and pump my Benji 397 for me while I shoot chipmonks!

Take it back out of the stock and look in the cocking slot for and signs of a broken spring or other fouling that may cause it to latch early, this situation seams unsafe so be very careful when cocking your gun....
