Hey Guy and Gals, I was just curios about the muzzle break on my riffle... is or can it be removed and replaced with something nicer?. I have seen all kinds of breaks out there and wondered how to go about it and where is a good place to find them for my Benji?
Actually that is not a muzzle brake. It is a shroud. A brake usually does not do much as far as reducing report, whereas the shroud does. I am assuming your barrel looks like the one on my Venom Dusk, which is a Trail NP barrel, seen here:
I removed mine from my titan. Really didn't notice a difference. If it did get louder it is quite negligible.

Itt's a titan that I'm looking to replace the brake on. I was thinking of my other gun when i wrote the original post. I really gotta quite posting when I'm dead tired! .Anyway, are there aftermarket brakes for this rifle? I don't really care if it helps with noise or not. Or even improves performance. I was just looking for something with a little more flash to it. QuoteI removed mine from my titan. Really didn't notice a difference. Other say it's just a set screw holding it on, but i can't find any place where there would be one.
Thanks HYspd! However , mine is just like 56's. I suspected an adhesive but i wasn't sure if there were set screws underneath the plastic. I also have seen others resort to a hreat gun which really sounds more like a mess in the making if you ask me. But anyway...I kind of figured it served no real purpose, at least as far as a performance standpoint. I'm sure an aftermarket one wouldn't do much than add more flare to the gun. So far with just a gold trigger and a new 3-9-40 scope this is the most accurate AR i have ever owned. My kids and I spend hours in the back yard plinking at Crossman shatter clays. I have them mounted in various trees and at various heights and angles too. Just to keep things interesting! If anyone has anything els to add or can point me to some aftermarket brakes I sure would appreciate it. And thanks to all who have already replied. Thanks guys..... and gals if applicable! (ya just never know about the other person on the other end of the keyboard) P.S.@silent_airman I had to start making sure i have at least two cups of coffee in me before posting...I'm afraid I might be looking at a 3 cup minimum if it keeps up!
