My question is, is there going to be any noticeable difference between a modded 2240 and a 2300KT/2400KT from the custom shop? Or are custom 2300KT/2400KT essentially the same as a modded (steel breech, longer barrel, etc) 2240?I know as far as cost goes, they will be similar in price for what I'm doing, so just wondering if one has an advantage over the other.THANKS!
Hey Phantom Nice shooting it is no wonder you have such a high Starling count GOOD ON YOU!!!!! I hate those destructors of human habitats

The custom shop just gives you the option to have it custom built to your liking by them in shop. Some folks just like to build from scratch for the fun and learning aspect of it. Performance should be identical as all internals are the same. The only difference being the longer tube on the 2400 vs 2300 and that has nothing to do with performance. Note however that the longer the barrel you install on any of the three guns the higher your fps and efficiency will be on either gun.
Ok, so the 2300/2400 and the 2240 are basically the same gun with different numbers? It would be fun to do the mods myself, but after my dad lost a small part putting his new barrel on this last weekend, I know that I will probably break/lose something lol. That was also another question. If I went with the carbine (2400), the price difference between 18" and 24" barrel is 80 cents. Will either barrel use more/less CO2? How much more efficient will a 24 be over 18? Will there be a noticeable difference in knockdown energy?I know I can always get a longer/shorter barrel in the future if I feel compelled to.Thanks for all the help
