Do you think that attaching a hamster to the cocking lever would weaken the cocking lever on a Prosport?

Interesting setup. I've never seen that.
The cocking lever on the ProSport seems pretty stout, so I suspect it could handle the load. Just guessing, of course. Have to say, though, one of the things I like about our PS is the way the cocking lever hides in the stock for the sake of making the gun nice and trim for the sake of carrying. Those guns appear to modded for the sake of target work. Definitely not stock ProSports.

Hmm... Strength is a function of surface area, and technically holes add surface strength.
Would I do it? Nope. Looks ugly to me. It would ensure a more consistent "hold", but since I don't bench-shoot I find anything resembling that detrimental to my shots. Plus when I'm traipsing in the woods it would add extra weight as well as increase the potential to get caught on something.
