Feeling like an idiot right now, because I can't seem to figure this out, and Googling doesn't seem to be helping.Where is the power adjustment screw in the AT-44S10, how do you adjust it (I know "out" means more power, but that's about it) and what size allen wrench do you need?Pictures would be super helpful. Sorry for bothering you all on this... I searched multiple ways and while rsterne's thread on tuning his .25 AT-44 is great, it doesn't show the super-basic stuff like this. I'm somewhat embarrassed to be in the position of needing help... but... help!
PS : No one was born Knowing everything so don't be embarrassed, forums are for this reason,to ask and to share
Be advised, Hatsan needed to use a medium (what they called a red) lock tight or glue. Mine worked its way loose and my FPE dropped to 27.5 FPE when it required 44 FPE. So best buy some to make sure you settings don't move.Be Well,Gator

The same thing happened on my at44 in .177. I used blue but, next time I think I might use green.
Green>red>blue for Loctite.... Blue should be all you need....FWIW, some Hatsans have part of the adjusting screw flattened into a square after threading and then forced into place in the hammer, making them almost impossible to break loose and adjust initially.... Then after you have run it back and forth a few times it gets too loose.... Drilling a cross hole in the screw and inserting a piece of Delrin rod into it to act as a brake is the solution I used.... If you keep adjusting it, eventually that will wear out, of course....Bob
Actually, a new question has arisen.Exactly how long does the 4mm allen wrench have to be? I bought a set listed "long" in metric and it doesn't manage to grab anything... and I can't see what I'm doing in there! I measured it and the wrench is four inches long.
These look long and they allow returns, I just ordered a set.I like the T-handle for scopes and barrels but these look like exactly what you need.Be Well,GatorCAUTION!,, these are the ball end wrenches. You don't want ball end. They don't grip well. Thay are made for when you need to access the screw from angle.
