Hey Fellows.
How about some advice on which scopes you have found to work best when mounted
on a break-barrel springer or gas ram.
1-brand of scope, ie bushnell, hawk, leapers, etc.
2-model and size of scope, ie 4-16x40, Banner, Varmint, Sidewinder, Bug Buster, etc.
3-gun you have it mounted on, ie Benjamin Trail NP .22, Crosman phantom .177, etc.
4-total shots fired to date, ie 3000 rounds? 5000 rounds? etc.
Thanks
Ray

I have a Hawke Eclipse 6-24x50 that I had on a TX200. It was brand new and working fine until I put it on the TX. As far as I am concerned the TX killed it. Fortunately I was able to get it replaced by Hawke and the TX went down the road. I hate springers, you see. Some people reported that they had trouble with certain batches of Eclipses. So I suppose it's buyer beware. Anyway, my Hawke will never sit on a springer or ram again.

Ive been using cheap Simmons scopes (4 X 12 X 40 W/side PA.) Mounted on Remington NPSS in 177 and 22. couple hundred shots on each and no issues so far. Wouldnt mind trying a Hawke scope sometime.

1.) Simmons
2.) 8 Point 3-9 x40
3.) Gamo Silent Cat, Gamo Big Cat, Gamo CFR, Crosman Storm, Crosman Titan and few others I don't remember
4.) Too many to count
This is my test scope that I use on guns that are sent to me without sights or a scope on them, it gets bounced around a lot and put and taken off many times. It was my original replacement for the Gamo scope that came with my Silent Cat....
