I hear the stock cracking was fixed in the Walther Talon Magnum.
Of course everyone sees things differently but personally I am thrilled with my WFH(.25), The stock isn't of the highest quality maybe, but this newer design is holding up fine, the rest of the gun seems very well made and ....here's my favorite 3 things. Extreme power(a true30ftlb springer), very very accurate(amazing for such a powerful springer) and finally,, its smooth to shoot,, pleasant to shoot actually. It was a pleasant suprise and I think you'd love the gun smokey, so long as the size/cocking effort didn't pose any trouble. I liked my. 25 so much that when I recently was shown a deal on a .22 talon, I snatched it up, 2 of these guns isn't to many: )
