Hi, darryl.
Yeah, I thought you'd like it. The weirder the better, right?
It shoulders well, and you can see in the pic comparing it to the B3 that it has a long length of pull (about 14.5" if I remember). It's "rear-heavy", and sometimes I find myself wishing for a shoulder hook...
The rearward piston travel is not hard to get used to, but it is loud, right next to one's ear like that. I don't think I would dare using a stronger spring!
Fatiguing, no; but cocking is more elaborate than with a break-barrel or underlever, and you have to be very deliberate when cocking. If you don't cock all the way open, it will not fire (anti-beartrap).

I must say, that gun is real easy on the eyes...it has a real neat look to it.

x2 on the 514. Its a fun plinker, for coke cans . Groups aren't that great at 10 yards. i wouldn't trust it for hunting where a precision shot is key. Mine is very pellet sensitive.

well the site domain apparently has been sold. Only parts for sports cars there now. Time for me to move on, and enjoy my RWS-52. Trying to find a peep for it now.

PS until I become fascinated with the next quirky airgun, that is.

The 89 is a strange rifle, loads at the butt and is weird to shoot...have one in the shop and can't shoot the darn thing, used to the stand up straight type rifle....
