Opinions on Trade Values

I am thinking of offering my Beeman P1 .20 caliber for trade in the hopes of getting a Mac1 Steroided Sheridan.
My P1 was purchased in 2005, has some wear on the back of the grip frame and at the muzzle (black finish is skuffed). It also is dieseling lightly (which depending on your camp, "is common" or "should never happen"... My brother had it for a few years and when I got it back it was dieseling significantly, but after getting some opinion on the Yellow and trying some of the advice it has almost completely gone away.). Beyond those factors it is accurate at 10 yards once the hold is mastered and the chrony numbers were with in the norm last time checked (I'll re-chrony it before I post it if I decide to trade it)
So, does this seem like a fair trade to those in the know?
I've wanted to try one of Mac1's steroid pumpers for awhile now and my P1 isn't getting much attention from me lately since I've been bitten by the crosman-pistol-tinkering-bug. The P1s i've seen listed in various classifieds seem to be going for around $300, but I have no idea what a second hand steroided sheridan should cost.

You can just about do a new Sheridan Steroid for $300, if I'm not mistaken. Most I have seen used are going for $200 - $230 depending upon what they have had done, model gun, etc. $300 seems like top dollar. I would say that, if your gun is in reasonably good shape, you shouldn't have any problem swapping it.

Thanks. That was kind of what I was guessing, but I wasn't sure how well the steroid mods held their value.
Appreciated
