Crosman Nitro Short Stroke, quick question about power tuning.

Hey guys.
A friend of mine just purchased a de-tuned Crosman Nitro Short Stroke from a shop here in Norway.
Unfortuneatly it is the Remington Branded version out of Germany, so it is limited to the German 5.5 ft\lbs (7.5 Joules) regulation.
Here in Norway we dont have any power regulations so if he wanted to get the most out of his rifle what modifications
does he need to make ? Is it enough to just purchase a new Nitro Piston or are there other components as well that needs to be changed out ?
Cheers !

Don't know the gun but knowing how lazy gun manufacturers are, I would suspect just the ram is needing changed as the original rifle was capable of 712fps with Premiers (16ftlbs).
If it is the ram it should be easy to check, take the ram out and put it on a set of scales and see how much pressure needed to compress it 20mm.
50kg is about 500newtons would be about 12ftlbs and is what the theoben ones were for after market bsa lightning etc
75kg is about 750newtons would be about 30ftlbs in Hatsan 125 full power after market rams
Assuming the gun piston chamber is properly sized and it is only the ram that is under sized pressure wise, should require significantly less than 50kg to compress.

From some of our Canadian friends, the piston on some has a small hole where the seal attaches. Check this, if so, a new piston or welding is in order.
