I bought a hatsan 95 awhile back for a project just because it is .25cal I'm not gonna waste much timeTalking about it. This is the worst airgun I have ever owned & I know how to shoot & tune. Now I'm gonna break it down & use everything for parts that is useful to me.If anyone wants a comp tube, cock arm, the stock or maybe a small part let me know.I'm keeping the barrel because I lapped it & know it will shoot on something better.
Vortex, or spring powered?
That's too bad. I have a 95, in .22, and it's a very nice gun. What seems to actually be the problem?
It's always a bummer when you get a bad gun. I've heard it said before, and it really seems to be true with Hatsan. Buying one is a &^^& shoot. Some are good and some aren't, and you never know until you get it in your hands. I have been extremely fortunate. Every one I have purchased has performed above and beyond my expectations. Including the Model 95/.25. Mine was good out of the box, but I did a complete tune on it anyway and that has turned into one of my favorite guns. Smooth, hard hitting and crazy accurate. I must just live right or something.
desmobob: I just got my Webley Valuemax in .20, and with the exception of my Diana 460 magnum, it is the only new springer I've purchased that doesn't fill me with the need to strip it down and rebuild it. I pulled it from the box, cleaned the barrel, and just shoot it...and love it! I hope you enjoy yours as much.
It's not always the gun. I also know how to shoot and tune but I was the previous owner of the one Longhunter has and.... let's just say He appreciates it more than I did.
1.Very poor manufacturing & machining.2.Rough compression tube.3.Seal no good.4.Dove-tail not straight.5.Bad barrel or backwards(pellets tight @breech fall out of muzzle).6.Teribble spring.7.teribble trigger.8.Plastic end plug(holding spring & trigger in place)9.I can go on.
