Haven’t shot these in a couple years... It was nice to rediscover the fun that was forgotten. The fun is in the ease of use. With just two (easy) pumps, you get decent 10m performance.
No fills, warm-up, or co2 cartridges to install - just grab and shoot. The two stage pump is the defining feature in this pistol.
I modified these with longer barrels to improve the balance and performance.
The .22 has a 13.5” LW barrel from a 12mm blank (top) and the .177 has a 14.5” LW barrel from FX (bottom):
Some ‘as-finished’ pics from a couple years back:
The seals on both were still fine. Time and inactivity will have its due, but I did keep them well lubed.
Chrony data from the old notes:
I didn’t re-chrony, just shot them (from 10m).
10-shot groups from the .177:
Then the .22:
Had a whoops in there with the .22... could have been me or the pellets but the .177 does have a better LW barrel.
Alectos are pretty unique msp pistols with the two-stage pump, and they’re a nice addition to the pistol arsenal... if you like pistols-

I put the carbine stock and red dot on mine. I also did the valve mod so it will hold the 4 pumps without blowoff.

Thanks, guys. I also agree, the .22 with the wood grips is nicer looking. Unfortunately, the gentleman who made them no longer makes grips. Get them while the gettin' is good was the situation here... and it happens too often...
