Mine is shooting around 775 FPS with the JSB's, too. I have some lighweightt 11.4gr. H & N's & they will bring it up to about 820 FPS. 17-18 lbs of energy.
That snubbed rifle on the bottom looks good. Was the front sight basically just a plastic sleeve that you pulled and reinstalled? Thanks.Every time someone one posts on these Hatsans in .20, they are out of stock before I get there.
Foam carpet padding cut to shape and layered to fill the hollow stock without adding weight quiets it down pretty good.
You all have convinced me to keep my VMX .20.
Just to clarify.. I didn't chop the .20. It went into the Hatsan Stryker stock. The chopped gun is the .177 Hatsan Stryker 1000s. I put it into the green Webley stock. I have yet to tune the Webley action other than cleaning the barrel and swapping out the trigger adjustment screw so I could set it how I like them. Very short, crisp pull. I HATE a long pull trigger even worse than a heavy trigger. I'm not sure what's inside the Webley. I haven't been in there yet. I'm about 75 - 90 shots into break in and it's showing a lot of promise for accuracy. I imagine it a lot like the Hatsan innerds.
