i apologize if this is inappropriate but, i cant find any info anywhere.
a guy wants to buy my crosman model 1 .22 ,in very good to exc condition, he has made an offer of $70. i don't know if that's fair, i hate to give it away too cheap.
i do know that daisy makes a wood stocked 22 pump for under $100, they seem similar in power and quality.
has anyone here had any recent experience buying or selling crosman model 1?

Hi steve_
I bought a good condition Crosman Model 1 this Spring/early Summer. I think I paid $125 + shipping for it.
I would have paid more, but I was specifically looking for one for the collection.
These are pretty scarce nowadays, and I think it's worth more than your guy's offer.

thanks, i just looked at the pics you posted ,mine is similar except has all the paint ,but a few stock scratches. he was also looking for a model 1.
he asked me to pump it up and see if it holds for a couple days....when would you ever do that in real life? i would think that since it shoots, its good.

It's common (and recommended) to store pumpers with 2 to 3 pumps in them. The buyer wants you to do this to judge the condition of the seals.

Like Matt (Toolmaker) says above, it's okay to store them with a couple pumps. I routinely put all of my pumpers away with 2 pumps.
