All you need to do is change the barrel and the bolt. The breech is the same for both calibers.
Actually Crosman has it right. The kits they sell are caliber specific, meaning they include the correct bolt.
i had a 1377 barrel on mine and it was super duper pinpoint accurate.. it was awesome
I ordered the 1377 from Pyramyd Air, found a custom .177 bolt on EBay from Alchemy Airwerks. Done business with him before. Good seller. Now I can get down to business. I am going to take the 10.1 inch 22 barrel and bolt off my 2240, replace it with the barrel from the 1377, use the new 177 bolt and the custom handle I already have on the 2240, and convert that bad boy to 177. Now I will take the barrel I took off the 2240, and with the spare parts I have, and turn the 1377 into a 1322 pistol. I will leave my 1322 carbine alone. I will leave the stock breech and bolt on the 1322 pistol, and use open sights for now.Whew, complicated huh? Then I am going to turn my attention on my 2217, and accurize that. When I am through I will have 3 sweet guns to play with, not counting my other toys. My future plans for the 1322 carbine are to add a Tippmann stock and adapter. I have grand kids who like to shoot, but have trouble with the stock being too long. The Tippmann is a telescoping stock, so anyone can shoot it. Now, what shall I do with that 1322...... Sounds like a fun summer ahead!
Actually the 10 inch on my 2240 came from a 1322, so it will indeed fit. My 1322 presently is an 18 inch carbine. Are you as confused as I am? What is involved in cutting down and recrowning a barrel?
