How about the Daisy 853 SSP from CMP? You don't have any SSP rifles in your signature. I've been thinking about getting one myself.
oops to late decision made...
The 140 arrived today while I was home from work for my lunchbreak. This should not be legal as it could cause one to lose his job. I unpacked it and stepped out the back door to take a quick shot. 8 pumps felt pretty good and fire surprisingly well. 1 inch to the right of my mark at 25 yds. Back to work I went. I got home at around 5:00 and went back out side. I sighted it in and tried CPUM, CPHP and GAMO 15.3 Hunters all with the same results. Within a dime at 25 yds. An easy beer can shot at 50 yds with 10 pumps. Not enough daylight to chrony. This weekend for sure along with pictures. I like the patina and the nicks in the wood. This finish is above average and the black it good. I understand there is a 2 digit date code on the end cap but I can't see it (even magnified). All I know for sure is that it is the 4th variant made between '61 and '68. The place of mftg is Fairport, NY. I don't know if all of them were made there. All in all, I'm very happy with my $100 (shipped) birthday gift. No plan to refinish or steroid. I'll just clean it, oil it and enjoy it.
