Actually, 2300KT designates a starting point of a pistol while 2400KT designates a starting point of a carbine. Those are the two options shown on the "Pick one" section of the online ordering process. Just a helpful hint to prevent any further confusion

you don't need a different breech. the bolt from the 2240 will work. extended or long probe bolts supposedly improve performance by seating the pellet deeper, but I don't have personal data to back this claim.
