someone suggest an alum spacer but I am not sure that would be a real good idea since it may allow slop between the action and the stock.
I could not find any up/down play, I did just spray it down and played with the spring. Setting the barrel on the bag does help a lot. I also tried closing it with consistant pressure ( not slamming it ) and it seems to have helped. My barrel washers will be here in the next day or 2. I will take a closer look at everything then. Does anyone know how to get the spring out so I can lube it properly?
Guess i should Splain a little better, glue would be a bad idea. I'm thinking that the area behind the trigger might be moving near that post and the v lookin bracket. Glass bed would be extreme but maybe an epoxy filler in the stock to take up slack.? anybody tried this or thought about it? I'm still waiting on the washers so I'm just thinkin what else I could do.
