I am lucky where I live down here in Fl. . There are not ANY mosquitoes, black flies, or NOSEEUMS !
My backyard range is well shaded, so I can shoot in pretty hot weather. What usually gets me is the bugs. A few gnats flying into my eyes and ears and mosquitoes draining my blood supply usually gets me heading back into the house after about 15 minutes of shooting

It's hard to see what you're shooting at with sweat running into your eyes and it's difficult to keep it offa the airguns.
Ok you make me sick it's summer here we have flooding problems. You cannot go out shooting rust strikes humid wet guns. If you get home and don't clean them before the wife throws the "you didn't do this before you went out list" you open the gun bag and all you have left is a brown line of rust. We were forecast a real hot summer this year. I think I'm going to sue the weather service I've tried to look after my guns but they are rusting if I shoot in my range it's just Damp everywhere so it's to hot for you guys to shoot my hart bleeds for you. I hope your pellets melt you know like a chocolate bar open the tin sticky mess. I'm not jealous at ALL.
:-) No matter where you live there will be something...I used to live in the Seattle area. I always said growing up that summer was two weeks in August. Mark Twain said "The nicest winter I ever spent was in the pacific northwest, in the summer..." or something like that. I'll take the Texas summers over the Seattle winters (any month but August). Just kidding... well kind of.
