Sumatra Trigger Adjustment (or mod)

Hello,
I've been plinking with my new Sumatra but I have to say I'm not able to squeak out the accuracy I would like with the current trigger. I'm used to the marauder and RWS Diana triggers I have and the sumatra leaves alot to be desired.
That said, I do love the gun for all of its other attributes. Is there a way to adjust the trigger and/or rework it to make it at least closer to my other rifles? I am not opposed to making custom mods and parts but I'd like to start slow and take any low hanging fruit, especially since this baby is new.
I did find this thread:
http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=72890.msg695230#msg695230
and was wondering if there was any more ideas or mods tried? Does anyone know if the trigger responds well to having the parts polished (I would imagine it can't hurt if done properly)?
Thanks,
MotorAxeDaddy

Turn the trigger adjustment screw in while holding onto the cocking lever . You will feel when the shear stops engaging, now back off half a turn.
A trigger polish and lighter shear spring helps but the major cause for the heavy trigger is the massive hammer spring.
With trigger mods and a lighter hammer spring my trigger pull is now 10 oz.
Just adjusting the trigger properly, without any mods, improves it a lot.

Thanks man [or frog in this case...]
I'll give that a try tonight. Adjusting it while holding the cocking lever makes sense since you can feel the sear disengage, sort of like pulling the trigger while holding the lever to un-cocking the gun. Thats exactly the type of advice I was looking for.
Not to derail the thread but as you mentioned the lower power hammer spring, does this tend to give you more precise adjustments on the low to mid range? How about the top end?
