Had fun last weekend with Sumatra

I seldom have time to plink in the backyard, but did get an hour on Sunday.
Set my AC Duct Putty lined back stop about 35 yards away, and punched holes in paper.
This particular target got 12 shots of .25 JSBs at 6clicks from low power.
Later I ran a wire from one of the cottonwood trees to the fence and hung some stainless spoons. Now that is fun. Same pellets and same power setting.
To my surprise one pellet punched through a spoon.

How many shots do you get at what fpe? I would be looking for 10 shots at 50 fpe.

Hi Chris
I don't have a chrony yet saving up for the radar chrony.
That being said from the results of other members who have them 10 shots at 50 fpe should not be a problem.

Nice shooting SteveO.
We brought some spoons to hang to one of the fun shoots. The .25 pcp guys tore 'em up quick.

Just take a hammer to them! That's what I did. Really surprised me that I punched a hole through the one. Now I want to crank up the power and blast the spoons with some 43 gr Eun Jins.

Hehe, you can't hammer it out with clean holes through them. I think they used full power, the spoons were pretty cheap too. Not stainless, more like dollar store silverware.

Ok, I've sworn off shooting spoons in the backyard. Had two scary ricochets on Sunday shooting heavy Eun Jin 43.2 grain pellets at full power. No telling where they ended up, and that scares me. For now on I shoot only into soft and safe backdrops while in the yard.
