Rob, I am not certain, but I think '73 was the first year for disc brakes on the front end. This one is mostly original with the 302 cu. in., 2 barrel carburetor, and 3-speed shifter on the column. 15 mpg <--- I am a lucky man. On the front end, that truck has guzzled $.40 per gallon gasoline when it was new. http://www.northjersey.com/story-archives/back-in-the-day-june-13-1973-gas-prices-spiked-to-42-cents-gas-prices-spiked-to-42-cents-1.590769Interesting thread.

My current stable. A 2011 Ford Fusion Sport and a 1998 Nissan Frontier. The Fusion is my daily driver. I kept the Frontier because it still runs great and comes in really handy at times.
Hmmm, interesting?? And your profile name is "redtrucker610" Care to elaborat
aww man, all the talk of vehicles is really making me miss my camaro although 450hp didnt do very well in the snow lol
I totalled the Camaro last March, was still drivable but a lot of repairs needed (bumper fender headlight and work on the chassis), sold it as a scrapper and got a low mileage well maintained ī02 PT Cruiser instead, itīs only a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder stickshift but it tics quite a few boxes of which one is to drive a car you donīt see much (I live in the Netherlands)
