Out of the ones you mentioned I'd go for the SX28. Mike does a wonderful job on those rifles and you just can't go wrong with one of his tuned guns. My second choice would be the Trail XL..... mine is a real hammer and laser accurate. It does take a strong arm though to cock it ....Jeff
The np might have a smoother shot cycle but not by much, doubtfull if either of them will do 950 fps with lead, what do you have on your mind to need that much power in a springer ?? David
The XS28M fully tuned the best way to go. With a proper tune, I can't imagine it will make less than around 24 fpe in .22 caliber, and a more accurate and useable springer at this power level can not be found at the price. When I am looking at springers, my decision making process looks like this:1. Is there a German gun in my price range that has the characteristics I want in a gun? If no, then...2. Does Mike carry something like that in my price range, with the full tune? If no, then...3. Check the classifieds. If no, then...4. Can it be had locally for cheap. If no, then FINALLY...5. Check Pyramyd, lol.I've owened an xl and a 125, and I wouldn't trade the overall performance of my tuned XS28M for the "thunk" of the nitro piston or the spare 3-4 fpe of a Hatsan 125 or a 135. If you can't shoot it with the fill performance tune, I guarantee it's you and not the gun. I hope i've helped you brother, God Bless-Bryan
Hatsan Dominator 200S. It's underlever which increases accuracy.
Call Mike... you won't be sorry JEff
