Thanks for posting this information. I share your opinion about the importance of head size as I have over time gained the impression that pellet head size matters more than pellet weight for POI.
Hey Tommy, good to see you back. If you are referring to your brothers gauge, here are his posts on it.http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=82839.msg849787#msg849787http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=90533.msg848462#msg848462http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=90529.msg848452#msg848452
Excellent study! Thanks for sharing. With my single stroke pneumatic (scoped) I notice when the HVAC is running in the house my benched groups will open up from a clean circular hole to a slightly larger bulbous one. If you scoped that rifle and made sure the HVAC is off you might get clean sub MOA groups (assuming that pellet is one of the best for the gun) and you might get a "difference" in the group sizes that would show some significance in the data.Again, thanks for sharing and keep us posted!
You certainly have that rifle set up nice!
I might have to invest in one of those gadgets and weed out the bad pellets.
I have a feinwerbau 603 running target that I rarely shoot, but it's extreme accuracy makes mini sniping a lot of fun. I probably should never sell it.Maybe I will set out some yellowjacket bait this summer at 10 meters an do head shots at 16x.
