Day before yesterday I handed my Conquest to my buddy for some 100 yard auto, semi auto shooting. Between it leaving my hands and into his the double magazine got moved to a centered position. He lined up and pulled the trigger and the probe got stuck in between the two single mags. Couldn't get it loose from the outside. We took the left side panel off and pulled the gear train out. I was worried that it would have to be timed. We got the probe loose and reassembled. To my surprise it didn't need to be timed, did take two guys and about 3 fingers pushing this way and that to get the side panel back on. They can be worked on, it shot fine afterwards.
Something else, the manual states that if the air tube pressure goes below 75 Bar, the air valve will evacuate all the air and the gun will have to be returned to be refilled. Has anybody had experience with this? When I had the side panel off, you could see and access the valve stem that the hammer hits. I'm thinking that the pin would have to be pulled on until the fill reaches 75 Bar. Am I thinking correctly??? Regards, Tom

When you fill it, pressure should seat the poppit. whats happening is at low pressure the spring on the poppit is stronger then the pressure behind it. David

The poppet spring and the air pressure are pushing in the same direction, shouldn't be any conflict there. If shooting in semi auto, the hammer pushes on the poppet spring and air pressure and it has quite a strong spring as it is always left on the poppet stem. One way to take the hammer pressure off of the poppet would be to shoot in auto, the hammer stays where ever it is when you release the trigger. You always have to do one shot in semi auto before removing magazine because chances are that the probe is in the mag. Regards, Tom
